Tours and Activities
Backstage At Warner Bros.
Get an insider's look at one of Hollywood's busiest and most famous motion picture studios — past and present. The tour begins with a short film showcasing the movies and television shows created by Warner Bros. talent over the years. Guests are then escorted via tour carts to the Warner Bros. Museum. From the museum, guests will visit backlot sets, sound stages and craft/production shops. Routes change from day to day to accommodate production on the lot, so no two tours are exactly alike. As you meander the studio on the VIP tour cart, anything can happen — perhaps a celebrity sighting or a shoot just wrapping on an exterior set!
Biking or Rollerblading
One of the best ways to soak up the California sun — and the California experience — is to explore this exciting area on a bicycle or rollerblades! This tour begins in scenic Santa Monica, and if your guests are looking for the seaside way of life, they'll find it here, where everything is enjoyed outdoors. The second half of this exciting tour focuses on the neighboring community of Venice. Venice offers a continuous fanfare of street performers along the city's popular Oceanfront Walk, with comedians, jugglers, roller-skaters, mimes and dancers all competing for your interest. Don't forget to peddle past the famous Muscle Beach!
Breakfast at Barney's
Located just off of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Barney Greengrass is one of the area’s best “hot spots” for power breakfasts with local agents and the west coast “ladies who lunch.” This fabulous restaurant is a well-kept secret with the local, world-famous clientele who prefer dining on the town but not among the crowds. Barney Greengrass is inconspicuously situated atop the Barney's New York store, which faces the always-happening Wilshire Boulevard. The outdoor terrace shaded by large umbrellas offers a beautiful view of Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills that few people ever get to see.
Historic Hollywood Tour
Who was Sid Grauman? Where was the first Oscar ceremony held? Where did Ronald Reagan begin his political career? The answers to these and other questions can be found on the Historic Hollywood Tour. The tour begins on a motorcoach ride into Hollywood, where a guide gives guests a brief history of Hollywood and an overview of the tour. Once in Hollywood, the one-hour walking tour includes inside looks at some of Hollywood's most well-known movie palaces, including Disney's El Capitan Theater, Grauman's Egyptian Theatre and Mann's Chinese Theatre, as well as some lesser-known but equally important landmarks.
Paddle Boarding
Come experience the sport that's sweeping the surf nation. Stand-Up Paddle Boarding was made popular by surf legend Laird Hamilton as a way to stay in shape when the surf was “flat”.
The ultra long and stable board allows you to balance standing up, and paddle with a single oar. It's a relaxing yet invigorating way to see the ocean, the coastline, and get a great core workout. Paddle boarding allows you to look straight down into the ocean and see a variety of underwater plants & sea life you wouldn’t see as easily from a kayak or surfboard.
Private Cooking Demonstration at Spago
Situated in a garden setting just off Wilshire Boulevard, Spago Beverly Hills has become one of the most famous restaurants in the world. It’s “glitzy, fun, and fabulous -- the epitome of California’s ever-changing cuisine scene.” The chef who put California cuisine on the map, Wolfgang Puck, has a magic touch that makes his flagship restaurant as alluring today as it was over a decade ago when he shook the culinary world with his designer pizzas and daring food combinations.
One of Wolfgang’s trained chefs will demonstrate one of their signature dishes, which guests will have the opportunity to sample during a three-course lunch. Bon appetite!
The Spotlight's on Film-Making at Universal Studios
Lights, Camera, Action!! Live the movies at the world's largest and busiest motion-picture studio, where many shows and attractions await. The Studios narrated tram tour offers a peek at prop warehouses, soundstages and the back lot where the intricacies of this exciting industry are revealed. You'll experience plenty of thrills and spills at every turn, especially at Universal's biggest attractions — Earthquake, King Kong and Backdraft! Private VIP tours are also available.
Treasures of The J. Paul Getty Center
As the crowning jewel of the J. Paul Getty Trust, the original museum was created entirely for the benefit of the public and is devoted to the visual arts. The Getty Museum was recently transformed into the much-anticipated J. Paul Getty Center, a 110-acre, six-building comprehensive art complex situated in the Santa Monica Mountains. The nature of the exhibits has expanded and evolved from the European roots of the former incarnation to reflect the creative and cultural dynamics of art around the world. The grounds consist of elaborate gardens and sweeping views.
Trapeze School New York on Santa Monica Pier
The Santa Monica Pier is a unique location for corporate events and teambuilding workshops. The facility can accommodate small or large groups (as many as 200 guests), and keep them all physically active while rotating through activities such as a ropes course and a trampoline—in addition to flying on a trapeze at the Trapeze School New York.
The school teaches a variety of highly stimulating activities, which can be geared towards just having fun or challenging the greatest minds and bodies. They offer flying trapeze, a ropes course, medieval sword combat, acrobatic yoga, or the newest sensation - balancing yoga. They can also provide professional aerial and acrobatic shows. If you are looking for a new, challenging and constantly exhilarating activity for your group, this is it!
